Day-by-day itinerary
Watamu – Tsavo East National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Watamu at 6:00 AM before departing for Tsavo East National Park, a scenic drive of approximately three hours. Arrive at the park around 10:30 AM and begin your first exciting game drive through Kenya's largest national park, renowned for its vast plains and famous red elephants. At around 1:00 PM, arrive at your lodge for lunch and some time to relax before setting out on an afternoon game drive. Explore the park until sunset before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Tsavo East – Tsavo West National Park
After an early breakfast and a final morning game drive in Tsavo East, depart for Tsavo West National Park, approximately a two-hour drive away. Arrive at your lodge for check-in and lunch before spending the afternoon exploring the park's spectacular scenery. Tsavo West is known for its volcanic landscapes, lava flows, dense vegetation, and diverse wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, and hippos. Return to Ngulia Lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening overlooking the surrounding wilderness.
Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you make your way through Tsavo West, stopping at the famous Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters support hippos, Nile crocodiles, fish, and a rich variety of birdlife. Continue to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your safari lodge or tented camp. Later in the afternoon, head out on a game drive across Amboseli's open plains, famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep an eye out for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, baboons, and the rare black rhino before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Amboseli – Watamu

Return to the lodge for breakfast before enjoying a final game drive as you exit the park.
